Law partners Paul E. Kelly and David L. King each served nine years as Assistant State Attorneys in Cook County early in their careers, where they honed their legal research and writing skills and gained substantial courtroom experience. They then worked in private practice for 20 years and 15 years, respectively, with the Chicago civil litigation firm of Hoffman, Burke & Bozick before forming their own practice, the law office of Kelly & King, P.C., in January 2006.
Kelly & King serves individuals, families and businesses in DuPage County, Cook County and the Chicagoland area. Our legal team has expanded to include attorney Kellett McConville, who provides both litigation support and courtroom advocacy. Our attorneys have tried hundreds of cases as former prosecutors and as plaintiff and defense attorneys in civil litigation.
Our diverse law practice was originally geared toward defense counsel, and we still represent an Illinois-based Fortune 500 utility company and many corporations, construction companies and small businesses, providing plaintiff and defense counsel in commercial litigation and construction law.
